According to TMZ: Angelina Jolie underwent a double mastectomy procedure — the removal of both of her breasts — in order to minimize her risk of breast cancer … the actress revealed.

Jolie penned an op-ed published in the New York Times, in which she reveals, “Doctors estimated that I had an 87 percent risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer.”

She continues, “Once I knew that this was my reality, I decided to be proactive.”

37-year-old Jolie says she completed the 3 months of medical procedures on April 27. She will continue to document her experience on the website for the Pink Lotus Breast Center, where she was (and still is being) treated.

The PLBC has treated stars like Sheryl Crow and Shannon Tweed.

“I am fortunate to have a partner, Brad Pitt, who is so loving and supportive,” Jolie writes.

“For any woman reading this, I hope it helps you to know you have options.”

Instagram’s Co-Founder Kevin Systrom Swears NOT to Sell Users’ Photos!!! {UPDATE}

instagram-642x480
TMZ – Instagram is in full damage control mode … with company’s co-founder firing off an emergency statement SWEARING the company has no plans to sell its user’s photos.

The statement is a desperate attempt to quell concerns after the company released a new terms of service agreement to users yesterday which says “a business or other entity may pay us to display your username, likeness, photos (along with any associated metadata), and/or actions you take, in connection with paid or sponsored content or promotions, without any compensation to you.”

After several famous and non-famous users vowed to stop using Instagram, co-founder Kevin Systrom released a statement saying, “It is our mistake that this language is confusing. To be clear: it is not our intention to sell your photos.”

Systrom continues, “[The new terms of service] was interpreted by many that we were going to sell your photos to others without any compensation. This is not true.”

He adds, “Instagram users own their content and Instagram does not claim any ownership rights over your photos. Nothing about this has changed. We respect that there are creative artists and hobbyists alike that pour their heart into creating beautiful photos, and we respect that your photos are your photos. Period.”

“I always want you to feel comfortable sharing your photos on Instagram and we will always work hard to foster and respect our community and go out of our way to support its rights.”

Systom says more updates will be coming soon.

Beyonce & Pepsi Ink $50 Million Deal With A Twist!!!

Beyonce has signed a $50 million deal with Pepsi, The New York Times reports. The agreement includes traditional promotional appearances and a new commercial, but also the beverage company’s investment in a number of the singer’s creative projects.

Pepsi’s move is in line with a trend toward content creation as advertisers seek new inroads into the music business and labels’ marketing budgets continue to decline. Red Bull — through its Red Bull Music Academy and Red Bull Media House — has been funding original content for some time now, as have Scion and Converse.

Beyonce will appear in a new TV spot for Pepsi, a brand she has been involved with since 2002. Her previous ads have included Britney Spears, P!NK, Jennifer Lopez and David Beckham. She’s also performing at the Super Bowl halftime show, which is sponsored by Pepsi.

Billboard notes that Pepsi and rival Coca-Cola are the biggest players in advertisements that touch on music. The two companies have spent over $330 million on campaigns involving entertainment and sports figures. The Times notes that both brands each spent $148 million on domestic advertising in the first six months of 2012.

Jay-Z and Beyonce were the highest-paid celebrity couple of the year. Beyonce earned $40 million to Jay-Z’s $38 million.

The “Love on Top” singer’s face will also appear on a limited edition run of Pepsi cans. Other artist recently featured by the brand include One Direction and Nicki Minaj.

Mr. 1n2 = Straight Shooter

I’m not gonna lie to you and I’m not gonna waste your time. The truth hurts, life is hard and any goal that your in pursuit of, your gonna to have to work your ass off to get it. Another thing, if you’ve never achieved any goals in your life and consistently need others to push you and show you the way. Don’t hang around goal oriented people, you become like gum on the bottom of their shoes, distracting them every step of the way.

I look in the mirror everyday and I have no problem admitting that I’m a very difficult person to get along with. Not by design but by choice. I started out as a kind helpful man, that would do anything for anyone but human beings are creatures of habit. Being nice to people is a sign of weakness, you can try but I guarantee, the day will come when you regret what you’ve done for someone. Let me clear that up, I don’t live with regret but I make adjustments very fast.

I’m always in a stressful place, trying to build my company’s from the ground up. With no support from anyone, I wake up everyday with a make or break mentally. I contribute content to my website Getitwrighthere.com, I shoot the videos, movies commercials, write scripts from start to finish, never making an excuse. I’m difficult because what I want out of life, your not gonna get it for me, and I don’t expect you to. Long story short, I will never change. My attitude is passion and I will not let anyone distract me from my goals.

I don’t expect to see the light at the end of the tunnel anytime soon, dreams take time but if your gonna embark on the journey with me, be prepared. Not only for the darkness but for the animal I become, when I will not let anything or anyone stop me from getting what I want out of life.

Until the next time..

See the invincible and do the impossible & create a legacy.

Beyond this, what follows shall bare the fruit of a life lived as

a solider,

a visionary,

but above all else -

an icon.

‘Liz And Dick’: Twitter Reactions To Lindsay Lohan As Elizabeth Taylor In Lifetime Movie!!!

On Twitter Sunday night, it seemed like there was only one topic to talk about: “Liz & Dick.”

The Lifetime movie starring Lindsay Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor made its debut and celebrities, journalists and all Twitter users snarked — in 140 characters or less — about what was intended to be Lohan’s comeback role.

Prior to the Sunday premiere of “Liz & Dick” on Lifetime, reviews were far less than favorable. HuffPost TV’s own Maureen Ryan called “Liz & Dick” “cheap-looking [and] exploitative”; Alessandra Stanley of “The New York Times” referred to the dialogue as “laughable”; “Reuter’s” Tim Molloy said it was “redundant and boring in a way no star could save”; “The Hollywood Reporter’s” Tim Goodman called it “spectacularly bad”; and Matt Roush of TV Guide said “you’ll find more exciting chemistry in a high-school lab” than between Lohan and Richard Burton, Grant Bowler.

So, I think it’s pretty much safe to say that, “Liz & Dick” was downright BAD!

What did you guys think of Lohan’s performance as the (obviously) incomparable Liz Taylor?
