The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 — Official Teaser Trailer

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 Comic-Con Debut

She may have had her reservations about being the face of a growing rebellion, but Jennifer Lawrence’s Katniss Everdeen is finally ready to live up to the symbol of the Mockingjay in this newly-released official teaser trailer for the upcoming “Hunger Games” sequel.

The 60-second preview, which was originally shown at Comic Con this past weekend, offers the first footage from the first installment of “The Hunger Games” two-part conclusion, titled “Mockingjay: Part 1.” It also gives viewers the first peek at a silver-haired Julianne Moore as District 13 leader Alma Coin. She is seen arguing about Katniss and her abilities to lead a revolution against President Snow (Donald Sutherland). Coin isn’t much of a fan of the young bow-wielding heroine, though an advising Plutarch Heavensbee (once again played by the late Philip Seymour Hoffman) firmly believes that Katniss is the only person in Panem with enough influence to unite the people. But is she here to fight?

Directed by returning Francis Lawrence, “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1″ will be hitting theaters on November 21st (with Part 2 hitting theaters next year in November).

When a half-Chechen, half-Russian, brutally tortured immigrant turns up in Hamburg’s Islamic community, laying claim to his father’s ill gotten fortune, both German and US security agencies take a close interest: as the clock ticks down and the stakes rise, the race is on to establish this most wanted man’s true identity – oppressed victim or destruction-bent extremist? Based on John le Carre’s novel, A MOST WANTED MAN is a contemporary, cerebral tale of intrigue, love, rivalry, and politics that prickles with tension right through to its last heart-stopping scene.
